Learning styles

Researching Learning styles

Introduction

Everybody has a unique learning style but each learner can have their learning style put into a section to help them educate themselves the way they should.

Active

Active learning style is to get participation involved in the learning process to create excitement and keep learning involved physically and mentally in the subject

Sensing

Sensing learning style is where the learners would want to do anything but sit in their seat and listen to the teacher. Sensing learners tend to be energetic and need to be constantly doing something. They prefer structured learning process and immediate feedback.

Visual learner

Visual learners learn better through sight rather than listening. Visual learners prefer images to help their learning process such as pie-chart and graphs

Global learners

Global learners tend to see the bigger picture at the end of situations they are in.
Global learners seem not to learn large parts of materials at one time. Then randomly having it click and learning all of it.  Strong global learners may have problems learning if they don’t have an overview of all of it so introduction into the subjects can be vital.

My learning style

From the research I have done on multiple websites like Vark I have found out I am a global learner.
As I always see the end results of what I am about to do, I tend to do well even if I skip steps, I seem to feel lost if I am not given an introduction of what I am suppose to do, I also work hard and go with the flow which all of these is associated with global learning according to this website.
Knowing that I am a global learner will help me improve in studying my class to help absorb all of the knowledge I can inside and outside of the classroom.
